How can you make black white canvas shoes?
I have dyed black to orange Converse, but before doing so I have to go to white ….. How could I? I can not bleach, as it weakens the fabric.
You can draw something the way – you can not "dye" something in a lighter color – if not money – which, as you point out, it could ruin the fabric – which is on the left with color using a type of "paint". There are some products out there that are specifically designed to work OK with the shoes material, and that's what you get. You do not need to go for the target between stage (although it may be the orange stand out more) go directly to the color you want (you can mix two to get the color you need) and make sure that said product is suitable for canvas shoes / canvas. If you want the white stage, then use the same type of product. I was a shoemaker for many years and colorful shoes (especially mine!) – I think it will never be as good as an original finish – but if you need to look at, can get away with it …
